Job Description

    Location: Mumbai Designation: Administrator Insurance Operations Shift Timings: 12 pm to 9 pm / 1 pm to 10 pm / 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm (finalized during operations discussion)Role OverviewThe position involves supporting insurance operations within a structured environment, with a hybrid work model requiring on-site presence for part of the week.New hires will receive comprehensive orientation covering business insights, operating models, team structures, responsibilities, and expected performance standards. Initial training will include onboarding, fundamentals of insurance and the broking lifecycle, and detailed process training with a review period.The role requires strong understanding of assigned processes, awareness of operational risks, and the ability to gain expertise in at least one line of business. Collaboration, knowledge sharing, and adherence to service quality are core expectations.Key Responsibilities
    • Execute assigned tasks accurately and within defined service levels for productivity, quality, and turnaround time.
    • Understand end-to-end process requirements and follow guidelines outlined in training materials and process documentation.
    • Maintain and update process manuals and create SOPs for new activities.
    • Identify improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency or reduce manual effort.
    • Investigate delays or unresolved queries and escalate appropriately.
    • Notify line managers of any escalations or concerns from stakeholders.
    • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, SOPs, and data security standards.
    • Highlight operational risks promptly for corrective actions.
    Required Qualifications & Skills
    • Graduate in any discipline.
    • Flexibility to work in assigned shifts.
    • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and strong reading comprehension.
    • Ownership of assigned work with due diligence.
    • Ability to adapt quickly and manage workload under deadlines.
    • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
    • Ability to support departmental goals and performance metrics.

    • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
