Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):o Certified Information Systems Security Professional(CISSP)o Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)o CompTIA Securityo Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)JOB DESCRIPTION /RESPONSIBILITIESJob Summary:The Cyber Security Execution Expert will play a pivotal role inprotecting the organizations systems, data, and networks frompotential cyber threats. This is a mid-level role, and the idealcandidate will have a strong understanding of security frameworks,threat detection, and risk management. The role will continue toevolve and will involve implementing practical, proactive measuresto protect sensitive financial data and ensure that our systems arecompliant with industry regulations and up to the mark to tackleevolving threats and scenarios.Key Responsibilities: Threat Detection & Monitoring:o Set up tools to enhance the network trafficmonitoring, maintenance and analysis of logs,monitoring of endpoints, identify and respond toand create response mechanisms to alerts, unusualor malicious activities.o Utilize security tools to identify, track, and report onpotential vulnerabilities and threats. Incident Response:o Lead and participate in incident response activities toquickly identify, assess, and mitigate securitybreaches or attacks; modify and put in place SOPs ifrequired.o Arrange to preserve and provide forensic data forfurther analysis and support during the investigationof cyber incidents. Risk Management:o Conduct risk assessments to identify potentialsecurity gaps and develop mitigation plans.o Recommend and implement strategies to minimizerisks associated with cyber threats. Security Architecture & Implementation:o Assist in designing, modifying and implementingsecurity solutions for both internal and client-facingplatforms, networks, endpoints.o Monitor and maintain configurations, set ups forfirewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/preventionsystems (IDS/IPS), WAF, and other security-relatedtechnologies. Compliance & Reporting:o Ensure improve compliance with relevant industryregulations (e.g., SEBIs CSCRF) and internal securitypolicies.o Assist with the creation and maintenance of securitydocumentation, including policies, procedures, andreports / reporting mechanism. Security Awareness & Training:o Support the development of cybersecurityawareness programs to educate employees on safepractices and emerging threats.o Conduct training and workshops for staff to improvetheir understanding of security best practices. Collaboration:o Work closely with other departments, including IT,legal, and compliance, to ensure a holistic approachto cybersecurity.o Collaborate with external vendors and partners toevaluate and implement security technologies.SKILLS AND TRAITSo Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to workunder pressure.o Excellent communication and collaboration skillswith both technical and non-technical teams.o Detail-oriented with the ability to identify andaddress security vulnerabilities.
