Job Description

    Company: Leading General Insurance Firm.Role: JAVA - Application Specialist.Department: IT.Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years in developing motor or health agency portal, hands-on experience in software design and development, database design and development, and system integrationIndustry preferred: General Insurance. Location:Mumbai.Work days:5.Competencies
    1. Proficient knowledge in Java, Java Spring boot, MSSQL | MySQL | Oracle | other RDBMS
    2. Hands-on experience with SQL server data tools SSDT, SSRS, SSIS, etc
    3. Hands-on experience working on Dev-Ops tools like Bit-Bucket,
    4. Jenkins, CICD Pipeline (for deployment purposes)
    Role & Responsibilities:
    1. Perform a mix of maintenance and new development as required.
    2. Implement project applications according to specifications.
    3. Research technical issues and provide recommendations to enhance API integrations.
    4. Work both independently and as part of a team towards API integrations with partners.
    5. Unit test code to ensure quality.
    6. Ability to juggle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
    7. Perform code review sessions with other developers and suggest improvements or alternate approaches when appropriate.
    8. Assist project managers and directors with the creation of task-level project plans that detail the specific tasks required to deliver a solution.
    9. Work closely with project managers and account managers to ensure that client expectations are met and that the team adheresto project schedules and budgets.
    10. Liaise with the Operations Team towards problem resolution and RCA identification.
