Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Legal Document Management: Draft, review, and manage legal documents, Suzlon Vestas or others operation maintenance contracts of renewable asset, and agreements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to company policies.
    • Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with current laws of electricity MERC, GERC, CERC & others regulatory body, regulations, and industry standards, and ensure the companys activities remain compliant. Advise on necessary legal actions to maintain compliance and aware to apply petition at MERC, APTEL and other electricity department
    • Contract Drafting: Participate in contracts (Power purchase agreement, Asset purchase agreement, O&M, Company related documents and their due diligence. recommendations to protect the companys interests while fostering positive business relationships.
    • Legal Advisory: Provide guidance and advice on matters of asset purchase, including contracts, agreements, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions etc. representing company at various legal platforms. Collaborate with internal and external legal counsels as and when required.
    • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research to support decision-making processes and provide informed guidance on various legal matters and potential risks.
    • Contract Lifecycle Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation and negotiation to execution and renewal
    • Competencies / Skills:
    • Legal Knowledge: A strong understanding of local, national, and Electricity laws, regulations, and legal principles relevant to the companys industry.
    • Contract Law: Proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and interpretation, with a keen eye for detail.
    • Research: Strong legal research skills, including the use of legal databases and other resources to support decision-making.
