Job Description

    1. Providing out of hours cover as agreed with the Team Leader
    2. Ensuring consistency across staging/production and Disaster recovery systems as defined in SLA for each setup.
    3. Escalating hardware and system-level problems to AMC Vendors.
    4. Quarterly patching and firmware activity on RHEL.
    5. Configure, Control and Monitor all RHEL servers
    6. Attending Hardware failures. Disks, Memory, Power supply, etc.
    7. Performing filesystem management like Mirroring, striping through LVM.
    8. Attending Software Issues. OS level problems, SSH problems.
    9. Providing CPU, Memory and core utilization of Aix LPAR on daily basis.
    10. Performing log movement as per bank policy and managing log movement inventory
    11. Working on the requests of development and support team on staging and UAT setup
    12. Hardening of servers as per bank policy
    13. User administration of all servers
    14. Monitoring operating system utilization patterns and preparing reports.
    15. Should perform DNS or host entry and as per the customer request.
    16. Monitoring servers for hardware errors like hard disk, RAM, CPU failures/warnings, notifying appropriate service providers, and working on the same until closure.
    17. Monitoring DC and DR SRM (Site Recovery Manager) sync status
    18. Interface proactively with other Infrastructure support teams such as Database, Network, Storage, Monitoring etc.
    19. Document issues and associated resolutions to problems
    20. Prepare documentation and presentation of progress reports to customers
