Job Description

    Company- Leading General Insurance CompanyRole : Manager- Product DevelopmentLocation: VikhroliKey Responsibilities:
    1. Product Filing Readiness:
    • Prepare and manage all product filing documentation.
    • Implement product modifications in line with business needs and regulatory requirements.
    1. Product Development Governance:
    • Ensure all filing documents comply with Product Filing Guidelines and relevant regulations.
    • Adhere to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for product development.
    1. Regulatory & Compliance Management:
    • Liaise with cross-functional teams for product filing, query management, system readiness, and product launches.
    • Coordinate with teams such as Underwriting, Actuarial, Compliance, Legal, Risk, Claims, Marketing, and Sales to ensure regulatory compliance.
    1. Driving DVP Hallmark & KPI Management:
    • Manage the VAS Inventory Report.
    • Drive the achievement of VAS Penetration and Adoption KPIs.
    1. Operationalizing Innovation Elements:
    • Identify and file innovative propositions or new product development initiatives.
    • Conduct market scans and track new product launches in the Indian market.
    • Identify and implement innovative elements in product offerings.
    1. Product Launch & System Readiness:
    • Finalize system requirements for product launch.
    • Ensure adherence to launch Turnaround Time (TAT).
    Ideal Applicant:
    1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field.
    2. 5 years of experience in product development, regulatory filing, or compliance in the insurance/financial services industry.
    3. Understanding of IRDAI regulations and product governance frameworks.
