Job Description

    We are pleased to announce an opening for the position of Manager Product Management at SBI Life Insurance. This role is based at our Head Office in Andheri, Mumbai.Role Purpose To facilitate new product development and manage existing products, ensuring innovation, regulatory compliance, and competitive positioning.Key Responsibilities:
    • Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle, including problem definition, product strategy/roadmap, customer & distribution needs, requirements, and use case definition.
    • Conduct competition benchmarking and analysis.
    • Drive innovation to generate new product ideas.
    • Oversee UAT for systems and calculators.
    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams from product conceptualization to launch.
    • Prepare all necessary documents for product filing, launch, and maintenance.
    • Work on functional requirements from stakeholders within defined timelines.
    • Provide data analytics and insights to senior management for decision-making.
    • Ensure adherence to specified guidelines.
    Candidate Profile:
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management.
    • Experience in Life Insurance Product Management preferred.
    Critical Competencies:
    • Proficiency in Excel and strong numerical skills.
    • Strong presentation abilities.
    • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
    Key Interactions:
    • Cross-functional teams including Actuarial, Training, Operations, Compliance, IT, and Sales.
    Measures of Success:
    • Timely and consistent completion of product filing, launch, and maintenance activities.
    • Successful launch of new or modified products.
