Job Title: Manual Test Engineer Banking DomainLocation: Mumbai, India Experience: 3-5 yearsL2 Round should be Face to faceCandidate should have at least 1 years exp of banking domain.We are looking for a skilled and experienced Manual Test Engineer with a strong background in the Banking domain to join our team. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in manual testing, understanding of banking products and services, and the ability to execute detailed test cases to ensure the functionality, performance, and security of banking applications.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and execute manual test cases for banking applications and products.Perform detailed functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing of banking applications and systems.Validate and verify business requirements, user stories, and use cases to ensure that the applications meet business needs.Identify, document, and track defects found during testing and work with the development team to facilitate timely resolutions.Conduct end-to-end testing on banking applications, including core banking systems, mobile banking apps, payment systems, and other related banking products.Test banking applications across different devices, browsers, and environments to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.Perform UI/UX testing to ensure that the user interface aligns with the design specifications and user experience guidelines.Ensure testing complies with relevant regulatory requirements and banking standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR).Coordinate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to understand the requirements and business logic.Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.Report and track issues using bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) and provide regular updates to stakeholders.Continuously assess and improve the testing process, identifying opportunities for automation or process improvement.Participate in project meetings and provide testing status updates to stakeholders.Required Skills & Experience:3-5 years of manual testing experience, with a strong understanding of testing methodologies and practices.Hands-on experience in testing banking applications (core banking systems, mobile banking, payment systems, etc.).Good knowledge of banking domain processes such as loans, payments, deposits, withdrawals, and other financial transactions.Experience in functional testing, regression testing, and UAT in a banking or financial services environment.Strong understanding of banking regulations and standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, GDPR, AML).Proficient in writing test cases, test plans, and defect documentation.Familiarity with banking-specific terminology, workflows, and functionalities.Knowledge of SQL for database testing, ensuring data integrity and validation.Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical teams.Attention to detail and analytical thinking.Preferred Skills:Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.Understanding of automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, or others) is a plus, although manual testing experience is the key requirement.Familiarity with Jira, HP ALM, or other test management tools.Exposure to testing mobile banking apps or online banking portals.Qualification:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Certification in Manual Testing or Banking domain is a plus (e.g., ISTQB, or certifications related to banking).
