Job Description

    Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Day 1 head end configuration for all new SDWAN CPE.
    • Modification/Creation of new templates only for new CPEs.
    • Maintain Versa SDWAN solution
    • Helps solve reported Versa related and network problems of varied complexity.
    • Troubleshooting network Versa SDWAN related issues in production networks
    Versa certified Engineers essential skills:
    • ROUTING, OSPF & BGP, MPLS Instance concept, L3VPN
    • TCP/IP protocol suite, SFW, NGFW, QoS
    • Understanding of PPPoE, DHCP, IPSEC and GRE tunnelling
    • Understanding of SDWAN deployments, Managing Link upgrades, Link replacement, Branch relocations etc.
    • Good understanding of various NATTING deployments and design
    • Basic understanding of hardware level troubleshooting and system level troubleshooting
    • Experience in troubleshooting networking and SD-wan related issue in production deployments
    • Debugging hardware & software system level problems in a Versa SDWAN network environment
    Coverage
    • Upkeep SDWAN branch connectivity and network performance by providing onsite support during branch business hours.
    • Ensure seamless functionality of all Versa Controller and Edge devices catering to branch connectivity and performance
    Deliverables
    • Experience in planning and designing or operating service provider or large enterprise WAN/LAN networks.
    • Developing, implementing, and deploying SD-WAN and SDN configurations
    • Providing support and troubleshooting technical issues
    • Creating and following SD-WAN and SDN implementation plans
    • participate in other next-gen technical project delivery
    • Work with cross functional team for solution development and training and knowledge sharing
    • Troubleshooting & restoring SDWAN applications & network related issues as observed during the course of operations.
    • Practices to make devices & operations more efficient
    • Perform hands-on tests to validate customer proof-of-concept setups, network designs, and network deployments using new products and feature.
    • Overall responsibility of expert level for technical support (Incident, Problem, Critical Changes)
    • Must have hands-on experience on IP Networking CCNA /CCNP, Routing protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, GETVPN, DHCP, DNS, NAT, BFD, Application-aware Routing & QoS) and switching (VLAN, Trunking, Dot1x, various flavours of STP)
    • Resource must be preferably CCNP Certified | Versa Certified
    • Ensuring resolution of the incidents & SDWAN Applications availability as per the agreed SLAs & Availability.
