Job Description

    Summary of Role:This position is responsible for building loads for the carries.Research & Planning to build the loads, verification of documents. performs checking for all the components of BOL and other documents corrections of shipment information to match invoices.Tracks and communicates root-cause analysis of issues to support continuous improvement Communicate with customers and carriers on calls on providing the status of the payments.Roles & Responsibilities:Enter carrier data into the system for Load GenerationContact carriers and preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data Creates loads by interpreting and applying carrier information.Validation of accessorial and adding the same on the loads after verifying the contract. Validate system data for accuracy of customer and carrier contracts.Review all available freight for linehauls and routes to ensure the lowest cost options are maintained within a private fleet Cost Allocation Managing cost allocation for the carriers.Track & Trace Uploading of documents received. OTP& D report- Running of Macro and providing the output. Liaising with onshore for updating on daily schedule.Follow and apply all SWIs and process documents. Should be a problem solver and understand the logic of load planning and different accessorial.Should be able to communicate challenges faced in process and ensure building loads which adds to timely payments for carrierEnsure efficient, accurate, timely and thorough completion of daily deliverables across all function of process Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead initiatives undertaken by the Operations Process.Open to work in US Shift timings/Need and able communicate clearly with customers and carrier on calls.Technical / Functional Skills:Knowledge of MS office like Excel, Word, Power Point etc. will be an added advantageStrong command on the TMS and application used preferably Oracle Transportation Management Effective communication skills(verbal and written); communicate effectively with support peers, stake holders, Carriers, Customers, Team Leads, Managers and every touch pointGood interpersonal skills: participate in a team environment and build strong working relationshipSolid time management skills: must have ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads; demonstrated analytical capabilities; effectively identify and resolve problems.Good time management skills, ability to follow and create SWIs; multi-task and prioritize workloads Demonstrated analytical capabilities; effectively identify and resolve problemsSolid time management skills: must have ability to multi-task and prioritize workloads; demonstrated analytical capabilities;effectively identify and resolve problems.Good time management skills, ability to follow and create SWIs; multi-task and prioritize workloads Demonstrated analytical capabilities; effectively identify and resolve problems
