Job Description

    Full-Stack Development:
    • Design and develop user-friendly and responsive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
    • Implement interactive features and functionalities using jQuery, AJAX, and JSON.
    • Integrate RESTful APIs into the frontend components.
    • Develop robust and scalable backend applications using PHP and MVC frameworks (CodeIgniter/Laravel).
    • Build efficient and optimized databases using MySQL.
    • Manage server configurations and deployments on Apache and Nginx web servers.
    • Ensure application performance and security through monitoring and optimization.
    API Development & Documentation:
    • Design and develop secure and efficient RESTful APIs adhering to industry best practices and security protocols.
    • Utilize tools like Postman and Swagger to prepare comprehensive API documentation for internal and external developers.
    Plugin Development:
    • Develop custom plugins to extend existing application functionalities on various platforms like WordPress, Zoho, Shopify (using APIs where applicable).
    • Ensure plugins are well-integrated, maintainable, adhere to coding standards, and follow platform-specific security guidelines.
    Security & Quality Assurance:
    • Implement coding practices that prevent common web vulnerabilities like SQL injections, cross-site scripting (XSS), and insecure direct object references (IDOR).
    • Stay up-to-date on security best practices and industry threats.
    • Write unit test cases for code coverage and quality assurance.
    Additional Skills (Plus Points):
    • Exposure to wallet-based systems: Experience with integrating payment gateways and managing user wallets.
    • Time zone awareness: Ability to develop applications that function seamlessly across different time zones.
    • Internalization and system locales: Experience in building applications that support multiple languages and regional settings.
    • Real-time messaging queues: Familiarity with tools like Kafka and RabbitMQ for real-time data processing and communication.
    • SMS Gateway integration: Experience with integrating SMS gateways like Kannel, familiar with SMPP & SMS, and telecom industry protocols.
    Collaboration & Learning:
    • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers effectively.
    • Communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in PHP, frameworks, web technologies, API development tools, and security practices.- hands on linux servers(commands for server maintenance and application/website deployment).- database migration from server to server.- hands on with large transaction reports and summaries(3 million rows daily i.e. 80 gb data)- handing async file uploads and bulk files processing(csv, xls, xlsx) 1 million rows in each file.- handle physical linux servers at data center without gui (console/terminal only).- work with no access to stackoverflow or very limited access to internet.- hands on with cronjobs and/or daemon script.- handle client calls for troubleshooting API/plugin integration issues.- hands on with core php.- able to migrate core php projects to laravel or equivalent frameworks.- able to attend/(co-ordinate with team/vendors) for high priority issues on holidays or non-office hours.- server monitoring and/or data center visits at midnight.- able to upgrade old php projects to higher version(resolving deprecated functions/libraries)- data filtering/extraction from old db dumps.- hands on with Vim editor, Mysql shell commands.- NO access to gui tools like phpmyadmin, workbench etc.- limited softwares on workstations that is mobaxterm, winscp, postman, ms office, putty, vs code, git.
