Job Description

    Responsibilities Key DeliverablesThe objective of this role is to bring the digital transformation in the IT solutioning landscape for bespoke applications using modern application architecture principles - Including cloud solutions, devops application modernization. Responsible for application modernization migration to the cloud wrt cloud native technologies, microservices, container based applications etc. Responsible for exploring new technologies and platforms like low-code to improve the productivity of developers and get faster developments of apps.If this role did not exists then the digital transformation for an organization will be stuck, as the organization would not be able to keep pace with the evolution of cloud and new technologies in the market. This will in turn hinder organization goals to achieve agility, faster time to market solutions, optimize compute cost and best in class customer experience with effective solutions.Primary responsibility is to develop centre of excellence in the field of Application Development with latest technologies, open-source frameworks and cloud computing. It covers the below mentioned activities.Create the framework development practices for the developers and ensure modern architectures are been followed to develop the enterprise apps.Explore the new technologies, cloud native services and low code-no code tools for the development of the applications and reduce the release cycle.Ensure the all apps goes through devsecops deployment and manage the entire SDLC for the apps.Bring agile development practices and best coding practices within developer teams along with maintaining high developer standards.Use of new languages, frameworks, microservices for application development.Handle the change requests, enhancements and daily IT operations.Develop reference architectures and solutions for the applications web, mobile etc.Drive the application modernization and cloud solutions with the developer teams, set the reference architecture for them to deploy their applications on cloud.Create skills and capabilities in the emerging technology and cloud within internal teams.Experience12-15 years of IT experience with relevant experience in Cloud and new age technologiesExpert in providing IT solutions with sound knowledge of cloud, devops application development. Person who has worked in all phases of the SDLC, knows about the front end, back end and DBs.Experience of legacy modernization, on-prem to cloud desired. Having a good understanding of the overall IT landscape including infra, network and applications.Strategic Business Orientation, Customer Focus, Innovation Led Transformation Result Orientation with execution excellence.QualificationsB.E. / B.TechSkills:application lead,cloud,devops,legacy administration,application development,SDLC
