Job Description

  • Key focus on quality, productivity, cost, cycle time (Bringing down overall cycle time and throughput time through process and time study) to have cost effective production.
  • Development and implementation of a visualized production system, this include KPIs (OEE, Delivery performance, complaints, etc & flow of information)
  • To ensure customer OTIF by ensuring coordination between marketing, PPC, logistics.
  • Plan work flow, manage multiple priorities and meet daily production targets while consistently reducing downtime.
  • Competently utilize Lean Manufacturing, SPC and related process improvement techniques to ensure the most cost-effective manufacturing process.
  • Control inventory and raw material handling
  • Ensuring accomplishment of production targets and preparing daily activity, audit reports and organizing meetings with supervisors and workers.
  • Planning Monthly strategies, budgets, production schedules, along with resource allocation at beginning of month.
  • Responsible to establish & implement QMS and continually improving its effectiveness.
  • Provide guidelines and resources for Continual Improvement.
  • Promoting Kaizen and 5S methods for ensuring smooth flow of operations with continuous reduction in Takt time.
  • Well-versed with various concepts of Modern Production Tools like 5S, FMEA, Control Plans, Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), etc.
  • Analysing areas of quality failures and taking steps to rectify the system wide preventive & corrective actions to avoid the reoccurrences
  • Ensure promotion of awareness of customer requirements through Visual display boards.
  • Ensure Internal & External customer satisfaction by supplying required quantity with Quality.
  • Comply with periodic QMS, Process & products Audits.
  • Maintain the Machinery & Equipments healthy with regular Co-ordination with Maintenance Dept.
  • Conceptualizing & implementing systems & operating procedures to optimize resource/capacity utilization in production operations
  • Interactions with Workman.
  • Preparation of Shop Performance Report - Preparation, & Presentation of Monthly
  • MRM (Management Review Meeting/Operational Review).
