Job Title: Project Manager - Manual TestingLocation: MumbaiJob Type: [Full-time]Exp- 10 to 12 yearsJob Overview:We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Project Manager with experience in 3 years Manual Testing to lead and oversee software testing projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of manual testing processes, methodologies, and the ability to manage teams effectively to deliver high-quality results. As a Project Manager, you will coordinate resources, manage timelines, and ensure the successful delivery of testing projects from initiation through to completion.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Coordination:Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with company objectives.Develop detailed project plans, including testing schedules, resource allocation, and risk management.Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the testing team and track project progress.Manual Testing Leadership:Supervise the execution of manual tests for different software products to ensure they meet quality standards.Review and approve test cases, test plans, and test scripts created by the manual testing team.Ensure the testing process adheres to best practices and industry standards.Team Management:Lead and mentor a team of manual testers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed.Provide performance feedback, conduct team meetings, and facilitate continuous improvement.Client & Stakeholder Communication:Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, stakeholders, and the testing team.Regularly update clients and stakeholders on the progress of testing, project status, and any issues.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, business analysts, etc.) to ensure project success.Risk Management:Identify project risks and develop mitigation plans to address potential issues that may impact testing timelines or quality.Manage issues that arise during the testing phase and escalate appropriately to senior management.Quality Assurance & Reporting:Oversee the execution of test cycles and ensure accurate tracking of defects and their resolution.Monitor key testing metrics and generate reports for management and stakeholders.Ensure that final product quality meets the companys standards and customer expectations.Process Improvement:Identify opportunities for process improvements within the testing and project management processes.Drive initiatives to improve team efficiency, effectiveness, and test coverage.Required Skills & Qualifications:Experience:5 years of experience in project management within a software testing environment, specifically with manual testing.Proven experience managing teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.Technical Skills:Hands-on experience with manual testing tools and techniques.Ability to write test cases, test plans, and other testing documentation.Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, etc.) and test management tools.Leadership & Communication:Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Education:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).Preferred Skills:Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Knowledge of automation testing (though the focus is on manual testing).PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
