Job Description

    Job descriptionRoles and Responsibilities1.Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and oversea vendors2.Evaluate vendors quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercialspecifications required for the project3.Advise internal and external on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions4.In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up onPurchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules5.Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors6. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation7.Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to cater to high delivery and short lead time requirements Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned Need to handle an array of products link to overall engineering field, electrical etc Research potential vendors & compare and evaluate offers from suppliers Being updated about the recent trends of the material standards Track orders and ensure timely delivery Review quality of purchased products, delivery information and invoices Enter order details (e.g., vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storageRequired Experience and Skills:1.Good in negotiation2. Good communication skilled with the client3. Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating and liaising with vendors)4.Hands-on experience with purchasing products5.Understanding of supply chain procedures6. Good in analytical skills, with the ability to create financial reports and conduct cost analysesEducation:Diploma / B.Tech / BE (Electronics & Telecommunication)
