Job Description

    Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced QA Team Lead to lead and manage our software testing team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and extensive experience in software testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and team management. This role requires a proactive leader capable of driving high-quality standards and fostering a culture of excellence within the QA team.Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement effective QA strategies and test plans for software products.
    • Lead and manage a team of QA engineers, providing mentorship and fostering skill development.
    • Define quality metrics and ensure comprehensive tracking and reporting.
    • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to define quality goals.
    • Oversee all stages of the testing lifecycle, including test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
    • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products within project timelines.
    • Maintain documentation for test cases, results, and quality standards.
    • Identify and mitigate risks related to quality and ensure continuous process improvement.
    • Drive automation initiatives and optimize testing efficiency.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in software testing.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 7 years of experience in software testing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
    • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing.
    • Proficiency in test management tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA, Planner) and bug-tracking systems.
    • Knowledge of programming languages and automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) is a plus.
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to analyze complex systems and identify critical testing areas.
    Preferred Skills:
    • Experience in performance testing and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
    • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
    • Certification in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
    • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and environments.
