Job Description

A quality control officer, also known as a quality control inspector or quality assurance inspector, ensures that a product meets a companys production standards before its released to consumers: Inspecting: They inspect raw materials, products in production, and finished products. They may use calipers, gauges, micrometers, and other tools to measure products. Analyzing: They analyze data and report inspection and testing results. Recommending: They recommend adjustments to the production process to improve quality. Documenting: They fill out and maintain paperwork. Collaborating: They work with other departments to resolve quality issues. Maintaining: They maintain and calibrate measuring equipment. Reporting: They report defects and problems to the quality assurance department. Complying: They ensure that the product complies with all applicable standards, policies, and regulations. Training: They may train other quality assurance members on inspection processes.
