Job Description

    Key Responsibilities:
    1. Quality Management System (QMS):
      • Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the QMS in compliance with industry standards (ISO, IATF).
      • Conduct internal and external audits and ensure documentation is current and accurate.
    2. Problem Solving and Corrective Actions:
      • Utilize structured problem-solving tools, including 8D reports and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action), to address quality issues.
      • Lead root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of product and process non-conformities.
    3. Advanced Quality Planning:
      • Manage APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities, ensuring smooth product development and launch.
      • Coordinate PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) submissions and approvals.
    4. Inspection and Testing:
      • Oversee PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) and ensure all outgoing products meet quality standards.
      • Implement MSA (Measurement System Analysis) and SPC (Statistical Process Control) for process monitoring and validation.
    5. Continuous Improvement:
      • Drive initiatives such as Kaizen and Poka-Yoke to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
      • Monitor key metrics like MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) to improve system reliability.
    6. Risk and Failure Analysis:
      • Conduct FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) to anticipate and mitigate potential risks.
      • Use RMTc (Risk Management Tools and controls) for proactive risk assessments.
    Key Competencies:
    • Strong understanding of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
    • Proficiency in quality tools: 8D, CAPA, SPC, MSA, and FMEA.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
    • Minimum 1 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control in manufacturing or automotive industries.
