Job Description

    Overview:
    • Team player to lead the team members and Managing team through lead by example.
    • Wide knowledge of IMS (45001 and 14001) with all relevant EHS documentation.
    • Great communication skill to interact with other department/their Regional HODs on EHS related matters.
    • Capable to develop HIRA/JSA/FMA and its control measures along with SOP/OCP.
    • Well verse on MS office to prepare reports and do safety performance analysis.
    • Carry out and Lead safety committee with Regional HODs and circulate Minutes of Meetings.
    • Good practical knowledge of Accident investigation and expertise in 5-Way analysis /Fish Bone Analysis.
    • Well verse about work permit system and having good knowledge of BOCW/Factory act.
    • Lead Auditor of 45001 and do across function audit as per safety management system.
    • Taking care all EHS related legal clauses and maintain legal register.
    • Developing health and safety plans in the workplace according to legal guidelines. Preparing and enforcing policies to establish a culture of health and safety. Evaluating practices and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law. Conduct training & presentations for health and safety matters and accident prevention
    • Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operations. Inspect equipment and machinery to observe unsafe conditions. Investigate accidents or incidents to discover causes and handle compensation claims. Ensure validation of verification of the effectiveness of in-place control measures
    • Provide specialized EHS expertise and assist in developing location knowledge of EHS Regulations and corporate standards. Conducting Risk Assessment to assist in developing safer and more ergonomic work process and procedure and communicate the results and make recommendations to mitigate risks
    • Develop and facilitate EHS Training and manage EHS Training matrix. Proper inspection carried out with check list to ensure the present condition of safety equipment and machinery is safe to use. Keeping up-to date documents of site relevant activities and inspections. Prepare monthly report and monthly plan.
    • Ensure routine hazard analysis assessments are conducted. Assist in identification and implementation of effective physical and behavioural control measures. Ensure validation of implementation and verification of effectiveness of in-place control measures.
