Job Description

    Greetings from Talisman HR SolutionWe are hiring Retail & Exhibition Designer for an Events & exhibition industry at Byculla
    • Designation : Retail & Exhibition Designer
    • Working Days : Monday to Friday (Alternate Saturday off)
    • Working Time : 10:30 am to 06:30 pm
    • Experience : 3-5 Years
    • Salary : Best in industry
    • Qualification : Any Graduate
    • Location : Byculla, Mumbai
    • Industry Preference : Advertising or Events & Exhibition or any other industry will also work
    • Skills : Good Communication, Fluent English, Well-spoken, Active, Client Co-ordination, Good knowledge of the industry
    Purpose:To manage and execute creative design for projects. To add innovative ideas and develop trendy designs for each new project work. To deliver the job within timelines.Key Responsibilities
    • To understand clients/ project managers brief & requirements. Developing multiple applicable design solutions which meet the strategic, design, functional and budgetary criteria as established by the client and DH project team.
    • To conduct research immediately on clients brand/ company/ service/ product to help understand brand, its value & USP better.
    • To translate the research into functional 3d renditions with regards to the creative brief, whilst Keeping design Aesthetics into consideration
    • To ideate & discuss the brief amongst core team members and allocate the project accordingly to a team member, only when asked to do so.
    • To showcase & conceptualize out of the box, creative and innovative designs. Establishing direction for materials and finishes on projects.
    • To have sound understanding and command over 2D, 3D software such as Corel draw, Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D Max, AutoCAD, Rhino, Google Sketchup etc.
    • Staying current on market trends and research as it relates to retail design, and communicates it to other team members & Liaising with the factory & costing team as and when necessary.
    • To understand exhibition floor plans, layouts and retail space requirement so as to create appropriate designs as per the brief.
    • To make sure that the design and functional and practical to execute within the timeframes/ deadlines, help for which can be taken from production head and Cad technician and creative head.
    • To try and use previously executed design shapes and form as to save design time, maximize profits and to recycle materials.
    • To be well versed with present & future deign trends in the Industry and knowledge of new products in the market.
    • To understand outsourced Designs & translate them into drawings for production.
    • To brainstorm collectively on such a project so as to get clarity from the client wherever required in the initial stage.
    • To constantly understand and research new design trends on various platforms such as Pinterest, Talent House, etc.
    • To make strategies to designs within mentioned time frames.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and sometimes to tight deadlines.
