Job Description

    Job Summary: The Sales Support role will focus on assisting the sales and business development teams by providing operational and strategic support for Portfolio management services and Alternative investment fundproducts. The role requires strong expertise in managing client onboarding, client relationships, supporting the sales process, and delivering solutions to enhance the overall client experience. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in the investment industry, with a deep understanding of Portfolio management services and Alternative investment fundstructures, product offerings, and market trends.Key Responsibilities:1.Sales and Client Support:oProvide pre-sales and post-sales support for Portfolio management services and Alternative investment fund products.oCoordinate with clients, distributors and internal teams to ensure smooth on-boarding of client accounts. This may involve client visits.oRespond to client inquiries and provide timely updates on portfolio performance, product details, and industry trends.oAssist sales teams in preparing and delivering presentations, proposals, and investment materials to clients.oMaintain and update client records in CRM systems.2.Product Knowledge and Expertise:oDevelop a deep understanding ofPortfolio management services and Alternative investment fund offerings, including performance metrics, strategies, risk profiles, and regulatory aspects.oStay up-to-date with market developments, regulatory changes, and competitor products to provide accurate and relevant information to clients and sales teams.3.Operational Support:oCoordinate with internal teams such as compliance, legal, and operations to ensure smooth execution of sales processes and product offerings.oManage sales documentation, ensuring all materials are accurate, complete, and up-to-date.oAssist in the preparation and tracking of sales and performance reports.4.Reporting and Analytics:oSupport the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for clients on portfolio performance and market conditions.oAnalyze sales and market trends to assist with strategic decision-making for sales and marketing efforts.5.Collaboration:oWork closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align on messaging, strategies, and go-to-market initiatives.oAssist the sales team in developing and implementing sales strategies to meet revenue goals.6.Regulatory Compliance:oEnsure that all sales and marketing materials comply with the regulatory guidelines forPortfolio management services and Alternative investment fund products.oAssist in compliance reporting and maintaining necessary documentation for audit purposes.Key Skills & Qualifications:Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field.Experience: 3-10 years of experience in sales support, relationship management, or similar roles within the financial services industry, specifically withPortfolio management services and Alternative investment fundproducts.Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the financial markets,Portfolio management services and Alternative investment fund structures, portfolio management strategies, and regulatory frameworks.Technical Skills: Proficient in CRM systems (Salesforce or similar), MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and familiarity with financial reporting tools.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market data, investment reports, and portfolio performance.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to engage and build relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and senior management.Attention to Detail: Strong organizational and time-management skills, with a high degree of accuracy in workPersonal Attributes:Strong team player with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.Self-motivated and able to work independently when necessary.High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.Client-centric mindset with a focus on delivering value.Additional Information:Travel may be required for client meetings and business development events.LOCATION-Andheri,East(MUMBAI)
