Job Description

    Job Title: SAP PS ConsultantLocation: MumbaiExperience Required:3-8 yearsKey Responsibilities:
    • Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP Project Systems (PS) across multiple industries including Infrastructure Construction, ETO (Engineering to Order), Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, Oil & Gas, and Public Sector, both in India and internationally.
    • Demonstrate strong expertise in key SAP PS functionalities including Structures, Scheduling, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Project Procurement (Materials and Services), Material Requirement Planning (MRP), Assembly Processing, Resource-related Billing, Timesheets, Progress Analysis, Results Analysis, Settlement, Overhead, and Period-end Activities.
    • Configure and customize SAP PS module while ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules such as CO, FI, MM, SD, PM, and PP.
    • Provide hands-on experience in developing technical solutions, including standard tables, BAPIs, and interfaces with third-party systems, as well as complex enhancements.
    • Manage authorization objects (standard and custom) and handle transport requests and sequencing efficiently.
    • Expertise in S/4HANA (On-Premise, Private Cloud); knowledge of S/4HANA Public Cloud is desirable.
    • Experience with Portfolio and Project Management (PPM), Financial Planning (CPM), and PICM is a plus.
    • Familiarity with Fiori, BTP (Business Technology Platform), and SAP Analytics is an added advantage.
    • Lead workshops to gather, analyze, and map business requirements, processes, and objectives, and ensure effective documentation and alignment with other SAP modules.
    • Perform deep analysis of complex business processes and design tailored SAP PS solutions to meet business needs and customer expectations.
    • Oversee the design, customization, configuration, and testing of SAP PS; provide workaround solutions for any identified gaps or issues.
    • Prepare functional documentation, test cases, and test results; manage the execution of test scripts for Unit Testing (UT), System Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
    • Lead data extraction efforts, guide business users in template updates, and manage mock and final cutovers, ensuring proper data validation throughout.
    • Drive business process improvements and suggest system enhancements for ongoing projects, providing proactive consulting support.
    • Facilitate training sessions for core team members, super users, and end users using tools such as SAP Enable Now, ensuring knowledge transfer is effective.
    • Work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior consultants and team members as needed.
