    Company: Leading General Insurance Company.Role:Motor Underwriter.Location: Mumbai.Experience: 5years in Motor underwriting.Industry preference: General Insurance.Roles and Responsibilities:1.Formulate and implementUnderwritingGuideliMotorInsurance within theUnderwritingPhilosophy.2. Develop a monitoring system forunderwritingcontrol, portfolio share and mix, and enforcement of risk acceptance discipline.3. Interacting with Marketing, Claims and Actuarial Teams for review/follow-up and finalizingunderwriting4. Contributing to the growth of the business by regular interactions with brokers and Intermediaries.5. Analyzing the performance of general insurance products at regular intervals and taking proactive actions to control & normalize the portfolio in consultation with the sales and claims team.6. Analyzing incurred claims ratio, review of the portfolio and taking proactive action for loss control measures.Ideal Applicant:
    • Total of 5 years of core experience inMotorUnderwriting.
    • Expertise in handling regional zone.
    • Experience in analytics, pricing, research, controls & strategizing.
    • Knowledge of Process and product development.
    • Sound understanding of numbers/analytics with a sense of business & risk
