Job Description

    Role SummaryThe Senior Admission Counsellor is responsible for guiding prospective students throughout the admission journey, understanding their educational goals, and recommending suitable programs. The role involves handling enquiries, counselling students, managing follow-ups, and converting qualified leads into successful enrolments while delivering an excellent candidate experience.Key Responsibilities
    • Counsel prospective students regarding higher education and study abroad opportunities.
    • Understand students academic background, career aspirations, and learning requirements to recommend suitable programs.
    • Manage the complete admission cycle from enquiry to enrolment.
    • Conduct counselling sessions through calls and virtual meetings.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective students through regular follow-ups.
    • Address queries and resolve objections to facilitate informed decision-making.
    • Maintain accurate records of interactions and update the CRM system regularly.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a smooth admission process and timely resolution of candidate queries.
    Required Skills
    • 1-2 years of experience in Admissions Counselling, Education Sales, or EdTech Sales.
    • Excellent communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong relationship-building and persuasion skills.
    • Ability to understand student requirements and provide appropriate guidance.
    • Experience in handling leads and maintaining CRM records.
    • Good objection-handling, negotiation, and follow-up skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple enquiries effectively.
    Preferred Qualification
    • Bachelors degree in any discipline.
    • Prior experience in the EdTech or Study Abroad domain will be an added advantage.
