Job Description

    Dear CandidateGreetings from Fairpick!Job Title: Senior AccountantKey Responsibilities:Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets,income statements, and cash flow statements. Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas forimprovement. Assist in the preparation of financial reports for management,shareholders, and regulatory authorities. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and regulatoryrequirements.General Ledger Management: Oversee the maintenance of the general ledger and chart of accounts. Review and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy andcompleteness. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including adjustingentries and accruals. Monitor and control journal entries, including those related to revenuerecognition and expense allocations.Financial Operations: Supervise the day-to-day accounting activities, including accountspayable, accounts receivable, and payroll. Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, andcollections. Review and approve vendor invoices, employee expense reports, andreimbursement requests. Monitor cash flow and manage cash disbursements and collections.Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to develop and monitor the annual budget. Prepare financial forecasts and projections based on historical data andmarket trends. Assist in analyzing budget variances and providing explanations andrecommendations. Participate in financial planning and decision-making processes.Internal Controls and Compliance: Develop and implement internal control procedures to safeguardcompany assets and ensure financial integrity. Perform regular audits and reviews to identify and mitigate risks. Coordinate with external auditors during financial audits and regulatoryinspections. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and otherrelevant laws.Team Leadership and Development: Supervise, train, and mentor junior accounting staff. Assign tasks, set performance objectives, and provide regular feedback. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment. Stay updated with accounting best practices and industry trends.
