This in turn helps us to provide better support to our broad client base.The Role ResponsibilitiesOversee and provide technology support for applications related to Operational Risk, Liaising with Product Vendor on defect management.

  • Ensuring server levels agreed with business stakeholders are maintained
  • Collaborate with Vendor and project team on defect management.
  • Establish relationships with CIO team and work together in reviewing and approving changes.
  • Manage Audits, internal and External
  • Work with relevant platform teams with respect to Infrastructure related to the application that is being supported
  • Implement SRE in operations employing SRE tenets and showcase visible move towards production engineering.
  • Manage operations within prescribed budget and identify areas of cost saves
  • Vendor management in alignment with SCBUY
Strategy
  • Awareness and understanding of the Operation Risk and GRC Domain & Technology
Business
  • Responsible for identifying and addressing client needs.
  • Responsible for Supporting, implementing, and managing support operations for Operation Risk and GRC technology.
Processes
  • Good understanding of SRE.
  • Good understanding of Incident, problem and Change lifecycle.
  • Good knowledge in AIG, ASRM and SCM.
  • Responsible for optimizing business processes through use of technology.
  • Responsible for ensuring the agreed service SLA s are met .
  • Responsible for ensuring sufficient staffing to support busines, as per the agreed timelines.
People and Talent
  • Develop and sustain good relationships with clients.
  • Provide technical expertise to problem solving
  • Manage and develop SRE talent pool
Risk Management
  • Proactive identification of risks and registering them on CRISP

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.   • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Licenses / Certifications Required: SRE certification from recognised institute
  • Languages & Proficiency: English - Good verbal and written communication skill.
