Job Description

    Technical Competency required:
    • Expert Level - Understanding of TCP/IP Networking and VPN
    • Experience with Enterprise Switching, Routing, Firewall Management including specifically Cisco NGFW, ASA Firewalls, ASR Routers, Nexus 9k. Fortinet & SOFOS firewall management and configuration is a must.
    • Experience with Network device monitoring and ticketing systems (SNMP, Syslog, etc.)
    • Experience in network routing protocols such as EIGRP, IGMP and BGP
    • Experience IPTV, Multicast and/or OTT.
    • Experience building BOMs/Quotes and meeting and managing project timelines.
    • Experience with networking requirements of virtualization and containerization (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
    • Experience with Windows Server 2016, 2019 Administration
    • Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP)
    • Knowledge of IT / Network Security Best Practices
    Nature of Responsibilities
    • Engineer and Design technical solutions and network connectivity for deployment of digital media.
    • Design and Configure Network devices including Switches, Wireless Access Points, Routers, Firewalls etc.
    • Ensuring all network devices are monitored with properly alerting.
    • Evaluation of new equipment and technology for potential use in current and future projects.
    • Provide technical support for customers and personnel for all systems and products.
    • Design and execute training for customers and company personnel on existing and new products.
    • Ensuring networking equipment are up to date with appropriate patches that are properly tested before going into production.
    • Monitor Systems for upgrade and Improvements proactively.
    • Provide round the clock emergency response and assistance for all necessary system challenges and issues.
    • Document and maintain accurate configuration information and infrastructure schematics of all networking components and dependencies. Log all issue and work in the companies back-end systems.
    • Troubleshooting of reported issues in a timely fashion and documented properly.
    • Assist with quality assurance and testing procedures.
    Skills:
    • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Excellent problem-solving skill set.
    • Self-Motivated and curious with aptitude and drive for learning new software and hardware.
    • Ability to Travel
