Let s shape the future of banking togetherWhat will you be doing:nexus is looking for an SRE Engineer to join the team as we scale our business across the region. You will be highly involved in production support. You will be supporting the Head of SRE and developer teams as well as liaise with external interface teams and vendors.Responsibilities

  • Support and maintain services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Perform regular and ad-hoc server-side deployments, performance fine-tuning and troubleshooting
  • Health check for infrastructure & application
  • Change Deployment
  • Incident management
  • Problem management
  • Automating recurring BAU tasks

What do you need to be successful in this role
  • A solid background in supporting banking applications in any domain. Both On premise and Cloud / PaaS environments highly sought after. Good knowledge of Devops and production deployments (e.g. Strong modern engineering background (peer-review, unit testing, SCM, CI/CD, Agile)
  • Comfortable working with large-scale server deployments
  • Proficient in PaaS environments like K8s / Openshift / Linux / Databases ( any )
  • Prior experience in fintech or financial services
  • Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a Support role
  • Proven expertise in Incident management and conducting RCAs in a medium / large size support organisation
