Job Description

Have knowledge to identify which queries account for the greatest share of database load and tune it
Should have knowledge in improving bad queries and query optimization and should have knowledge of below .

Understand the characteristics of different SQL types as they pertain to logic, performance, and storage
Understand the importance of grouping changes and committing them as an atomic unit of work. Understand isolation levels.
Should have experience to use powerful features of SQL to update sets of data in one query
Should manage the Tasks and communicate project status to the concerned team/project leader on time.
Responsible for writing and coding individual programmers from specific requirements.
Should take responsibility for Quality Standards of the Project Developed.
Perform maintenance programming and correction of identified defects.
Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnesses.
Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.
