Job Description

    • Handling GST advisory and compliances with help of ASPs and GSPs
    • Assist internal teams on indirect tax/ GST related queries.
    • Helping with audits or investigation by the tax authorities
    • Assistance in GST audits
    • Provide support in GST credit admissibility - Enable accuracy in availment of GST input credit and ensure the timely reconciliation between books and 2A & 2B and inward register
    • ITC reconciliations on pan India level using ASP/GSP tools
    • Taking proactive steps to close pending indirect tax litigations (pan India) [GST and erstwhile indirect tax statutes such as Service tax, Excise, VAT, etc].
    • Replying to various SCN and other notices raised by the authorities. - Provide necessary support in filing appeals wherever needed
    • Attending hearings pan India for GST assessments/ appeal hearings
    • Extensive research on various critical aspects of GST Laws.
    • Benchmarking against industry preferred practice to identify new ways of helping to reduce GST incidence and capturing permanent cash flow benefits
    • Participate in planning, developing and implementing GST strategies to optimize tax incidence
