Job Description

    Job Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a key role in designing test strategies, mentoring junior team members, and driving testing efficiency.Key Responsibilities:
    • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
    • Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing across various platforms.
    • Identify, document, and track software defects, collaborating with developers for resolution.
    • Lead and manage complex testing projects and ensure timely delivery of quality products.
    • Develop and maintain automation scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
    • Mentor and guide junior QA team members, sharing best practices and knowledge.
    • Act as a quality advocate in Agile/Scrum teams, ensuring test coverage and adherence to standards.
    • Provide regular reports on testing progress, defect status, and risk analysis.
    • Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and frameworks to enhance team productivity.
    • Stay updated on the latest testing tools, techniques, and trends.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 5 years of experience in software testing, with a proven track record in manual and automated testing.
    • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
    • Proficiency with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking systems.
    • Experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
    • Solid knowledge of programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript).
    • Hands-on experience in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
    Preferred Skills:
    • Experience in performance testing and tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
    • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
    • Certification in quality assurance (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE).
    • Familiarity with cloud-based testing platforms and environments.
