Job Description

    Position Title: StewardLocation: Mumbai, MaharashtraDepartment: Food & BeverageReports To: Restaurant Manager / F&B SupervisorJob Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Steward to join our team in Mumbai. The Steward will be responsible for ensuring excellent service to customers in a restaurant or dining setting, assisting with table settings, order delivery, cleanliness, and the overall dining experience. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a friendly attitude, and a passion for hospitality.Key Responsibilities:1- Customer Service:Greet guests with a warm and friendly attitude upon arrival.Take food and drink orders from guests, ensuring all requests are accurately captured.Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally, ensuring the quality and presentation meet the restaurants standards.2- Cleaning & Maintenance:Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, including wiping down tables, chairs, and ensuring floor areas are kept clean and tidy.Clear and reset tables in a timely manner to ensure smooth turnover and seating for new guests.Ensure that cutlery, glassware, and other tableware are in pristine condition.3- Support Operations:Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service and smooth operations.Assist in setting up tables for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events.Ensure that all guests are served in a timely manner and ensure the correct order is delivered.Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate staff or management.Restock and replenish dining supplies as needed.4- Health & Safety Compliance:Follow all health and safety regulations in food handling and sanitation procedures.Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene.5- Teamwork:Work closely with fellow staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.Assist other team members as needed to ensure the team operates effectively and efficiently.Be open to feedback and make continuous improvements to performance.Experience:Previous experience in a similar role in the food and beverage industry is preferred, but not required.Experience in handling food and beverage orders in a restaurant, hotel, or event setting is an advantage.Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Good knowledge of food and beverage services and etiquette.Ability to work as part of a team and individually.Ability to remain calm and professional during busy or stressful situations.How to Apply:Interested candidates are invited to submit their updated resume on hidden_email or can contact direct at hidden_mobile
