Hi All, We have opening with one of the big NBFC.(Age not more than 36)Job Title: Team Lead - Application SupportDepartment: IT Department / TechnologyReports To: IT Manager / Director of TechnologyJob Overview:We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Team Lead - Application Support to manage and oversee the organizations critical applications. This role will focus on ensuring the seamless operation of business applications while working closely with vendors and business teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, with expertise in vendor management, project management, and aligning IT initiatives with business needs.Key Responsibilities:
1. Vendor Management:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors and service providers.
• Collaborate with vendors to ensure the timely delivery of IT services and solutions.
• Negotiate contracts, manage performance, and ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
• Coordinate issue resolution with vendors, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Conduct regular vendor reviews to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
2. Application Management:
• Lead the management and support of business-critical applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define application requirements, ensure solutions meet business needs, and align with overall IT strategy.
• Oversee application upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting.
• Manage incident resolution and user support for applications.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for existing applications.
3. Business Connectivity:
• Serve as a liaison between IT and business units, ensuring that technology solutions align with business goals.
• Work with business leaders to identify needs and propose IT solutions that enhance business processes and performance.
• Communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure business teams are fully supported with the necessary IT tools and applications to drive efficiency.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with development teams to deliver solutions.
4. Project Leadership:
• Lead IT application-related projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables, and develop detailed project plans.
• Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Perform risk management and mitigation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular updates to management and key stakeholders regarding project status.
5. Process Optimization & Compliance:
• Ensure that IT processes related to application support and vendor management follow industry best practices.
• Establish and enforce policies and procedures to maintain application security, compliance, and governance.
• Regularly assess and optimize the use of technology to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum 9 years of experience in IT application management, project management, or related roles.
• Proven experience in vendor management and contract negotiation.
• Strong background in business engagement and translating business needs into IT solutions.
• Skills:
• Strong knowledge of IT applications, systems integration, and software lifecycle management.
• Excellent vendor relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence both business and IT stakeholders.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and IT project management tools.
Desirable Skills:
• Experience with Banking domain applications.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and modern IT infrastructure.
• Ability to implement and manage business continuity and disaster recovery plans for critical applications.
