    • B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc./M.C.A. or equivalent degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Applications, IT, Computer Management, Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication with 1 year of relevant post-degree experience.
    • OR Bachelors degree (other than B.Tech/B.E.) in any of the above-mentioned fields with 4 years of relevant experience after the qualifying degree.
    • OR 3-year Diploma in any of the above-mentioned fields with 6 years of relevant experience after the diploma.
    Essential Experience:
    • Experience in computer/server systems administration or network systems administration (wired, wireless, or telecom) within a large enterprise.
    • Experience managing multiple websites/web applications (both front-end and back-end).
    • Minimum of 9 months experience in hardware troubleshooting of enterprise servers/workstations or managed network switches.
    • At least 3 months of experience in webpage development and maintenance.
    • Hands-on experience with Linux-based operating systems.
    • Basic knowledge of IPV4, IPV6, LDAP, and web servers (e.g., Apache, Nginx), mail servers, DNS, DHCP, and shared file systems like NFS on any Linux distribution.
    • Proficiency in basic shell scripting or any general-purpose programming language, and basic HTML.
    • Knowledge of VPN, SSH, Telnet, FTP, and SIP.
    • Basic understanding of wired and wireless communications, including VLAN, subnetting, and routing.
    Desirable Experience:
    • Expertise in Linux system administration, including installation of OS, drivers, and network configuration on servers, switches, routers, and Rocks Cluster installation.
    • Experience with LDAP, web servers (Apache, Nginx), email servers (Postfix/Dovecot/Mailman), DNS, Reverse/Forward Proxy, VPN, NFS, Samba, DHCP, and mailing lists.
    • Knowledge of optical fiber cables (OFC), including cable types, measuring losses, OFC splicing, and structured cabling.
    • Familiarity with virtualization, containers, and cloud technologies (KVM, Proxmox, Openstack, Docker, etc.).
    • Good command of English with strong communication, documentation, and workflow management skills.
    • Familiarity with government procurement processes.
    • Experience in web-based management of network switches.
    • Proficiency in networking tools like ping, traceroute/mtr/tracert, dig, find, iproute, ipconfig, ifconfig, SNMP, and dynamic routing.
    • Understanding of web technologies such as Django, Drupal, Angular, MongoDB.
    • Knowledge of EPABX/IP-PBX, underground telecom cables, optical fiber communication, MDF, battery supply, and UPS systems.
    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
