Job Description

    • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are a plus with 5 -6 years of experience.
    • Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, and supplier management within the transportation category, preferably in a complex and global environment.
    • In-depth knowledge of transportation logistics, including modes of transportation (road, air, ocean, rail), customs regulations, and freight forwarding processes.
    • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and favourable contractual terms in transportation procurement.
    • Experience managing relationships with transportation service providers, carriers, and 3PL partners.
    • Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS), freight payment systems, and other relevant technology solutions.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
