Job Description

A Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the standards of cleanliness are met. They assign tasks, inspect work to ensure its up to standard, and provide training on how to best handle customers requests.Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met and maintained throughout the premises.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure rooms, public areas, and facilities are well-maintained and meet quality standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and resolve any housekeeping-related issues promptly.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and linens to ensure an adequate supply is available at all times.
  • Implement and enforce housekeeping policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Train and educate staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Respond to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints regarding housekeeping services in a professional and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any maintenance or repair needs within the housekeeping department.
  • Prepare work schedules and assign duties to ensure optimal coverage and productivity.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to housekeeping staff to foster their professional growth.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping to continuously improve operations.
