Production Engineer - Module

Job Description

Role Overview:As a potential candidate for the role, your responsibilities will include allocating manpower and ensuring cleaning activities of critical machines are carried out, adhering to 100% production as per the plan for the respective shift, conducting 5S activities, and identifying safety hazards. You will be responsible for communicating with the PPC team regarding production orders and raw materials, conducting line in-charge meetings with operators for defect discussions, and verifying process parameters. Additionally, you will be expected to sign off on daily check sheets, conduct daily defect reviews with associates and team leaders to meet quality targets, and review production orders daily to ensure timely closure.Key Responsibilities:- Allocating manpower and ensuring cleaning activities of critical machines- Adhering to 100% production as per the plan for the respective shift- Conducting 5S activities and identifying safety hazards- Communicating with the PPC team regarding production orders and raw materials- Conducting line in-charge meetings with operators for defect discussions and production output- Verifying process parameters and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) against non-conformities- Signing off on daily check sheets and conducting daily defect reviews with associates and team leaders to meet quality targets- Reviewing production orders daily and ensuring timely closure- Checking the availability of required tools and spare parts on the line daily- Ensuring safety measures are in place daily- Monitoring and implementing improvement activities, Quality Circles, rejection reduction, and product downgrading reduction- Facilitating smooth shift handovers for better management- Adhering to soft skills and behavior training as per schedule- Monitoring new manpower On-the-Job Training (OJT) and multi-skilling- Properly handling manpower for the production line- Ensuring daily and shift-wise volumes meet targets- Scheduling variant-wise products as per dispatch meeting Customer Requirement Delivery Date (CRDD)- Analyzing monthly Work-in-Progress (WIP) and shop floor inventory, and implementing corrective measures- Ensuring Quality Management System (QMS) compliance with ISO 9000:2008, ISO 14001, and OHAS 18001- Implementing Total Quality Management (TQM) concepts on the shop floor such as 5S, 3M, JIT, and Suggestion SchemeQualifications Required:- Essential Qualification: BE/BTech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics- Experience: 3 to 7 years,
