Job Description

    Iskraemeco India Pvt Ltd. at Mysore is looking for experienced Component Engineer preferably from metering domain.Total Years of Experience-3-7 years, freshers not required, so freshers please dont apply.Job Locations-MysoreEducational Qualification- BE in Electronics stream / Diploma with minimum 8-year work experience in the respective domain1. Established process-oriented skills to test and validate Alternate Manufacturer parts-Electronics component2. Support H/W design team with component selection and qualification data3. Vendor development, Alternate evaluation to overcome PCN/EOL.4. Alternate source approval as per part approval procedures with product testing.5. Component Evaluation Component Level Testing & Product Level Testing6. Excellent knowledge in Active & Passive electronic components.7. Knowledge in Energy Meter application.8. Detailed Failure Root Cause Analysis and generate 8D reports9. Drawing revision change, AVL, Datasheet and test reports release control in system.10. Component Evaluation ,documentation and release control for procurement.11. Product cost reduction through value engineering.Primary Responsibilities:Alternate component selection, Testing and Approval.Initiation of process automation through share point/ERP.Initiating and Sustaining contacts with Suppliers and Manufacturers, obtaining information on components.Part approval, release & quality management in NPD.Components selection and evaluation for New R&D requirements.Cost effective Alternate component development.Component sourcing for R&D requirement, Proto development.Mandatory Skills:Excellent knowledge in Active & Passive electronic components.Managing component evaluation & development.Component Evaluation & Testing in Product Level.Interested candidates with only relevant years of experience and NO FRESHER from the metering domain are requested to send me your resume to hidden_email with the following information in the subject line: Subject Your Name_Component EngineerCandidates who are shortlisted will only receive call from our side so, kindly dont need to follow up.Please save your resume with your proper name and not just resume.
