    Job Description for Team Leader - Debt RecoveryJob Title: Team Leader - Debt RecoveryLocation: Bangalore, MysoreDepartment: Debt RecoveryReports To: Debt Recovery ManagerJob Summary:The Team Leader will oversee the Debt Recovery team, enhancing strategies and operations for effective debt collection from consumer and business loans.Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the debt recovery team to ensure high-performance and efficient service delivery. Develop and implement strategies that optimize debt and income collection rates. Establish and enforce policies to improve service standards and operational efficiency. Oversee recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and workload management in line with organizational policies. Design debt recovery processes that standardize case progression and recovery cycles. Monitor and report on team performance metrics. Motivate the team, identify training needs, and provide coaching. Handle feedback, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive team environment. Recognize and reward team achievements, encourage innovation, and organize team-building activities.Qualifications: Minimum 5 years experience in debt recovery, including consumer and business loans, within the financial services sector and managed a minimum team size of 10. Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; advanced degree preferred. Strong leadership skills with experience in managing a multi-disciplinary team. Proficient in using CRM systems and understanding debt collection regulations. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Personal Attributes: Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
