Our line of innovative and high-tech products aims to bring back the joy of home cooking back to the kitchen and restore the kitchen back to the center of home life that it used to be - filled with bonding and caring for all members of the family.Job Summary:The Head of Manufacturing is responsible for overseeing all manufacturing operations to ensure production efficiency, quality, customer satisfaction, and cost-effective management of resources. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive continuous improvement initiatives and align manufacturing processes with the companys overall business objectives.In addition to core manufacturing responsibilities, the Head of Manufacturing will lead New Product Introduction (NPI) efforts and manage Sustenance Engineering activities. This includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring new products to market efficiently and ensuring the ongoing support and improvement of existing products throughout their lifecycle.Please note that this role is based in Mysuru.Key Responsibilities: Being a highly visible, hands-on team builder, while motivating, coaching, and leading a CMS based Manufacturing team. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with company goals and objectives. New Product Introduction (NPI): Lead the manufacturing aspect of NPI projects from concept to launch. Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Product Development teams to ensure new products are designed for manufacturability. Establish and optimize production processes for new products, including equipment selection and process validation. Sustenance Engineering Management: Oversee the Sustenance Engineering team to support existing products. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce costs, and extend product lifecycle. Manage engineering changes, product updates, and compliance with new regulations.Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient production schedules and workflow management.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements and lead initiatives to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction.Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet or exceed quality standards and regulatory requirements.Budget Management: Prepare and manage the manufacturing budget, including capital expenditures and operational costs.Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing manufacturing team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing activities comply with industry regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and Customer Service to optimize production and meet customer demands.Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and effectivenessQualifications and Skills: Bachelors degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Masters degree or MBA is preferred. 15 years of experience in manufacturing management, including contract manufacturer management within the consumer durables or white goods industry. Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) and managing Sustenance Engineering activities. Successfully delivered at least three brand new electromechanical products from concept to market. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. Knowledge of Hardware electronics devices/Automotives experience is a must. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, production processes, and quality control. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.,
