planning and coordinating non-clinical, administrative activities for the facility they managecreating plans and strategies aimed at improving service deliveryimplementing IT systems and supporting them to ensure an efficient and up-to-date serviceoversight, management and supervision of all staff including clinicians, care providers and administrative staffmanaging staff, patient and financial information digitally to analyse it and monitor performanceperforming various quality assurance and risk assessment duties, including the assessment of patient care, well being and satisfactionscheduling staff and hiring new employees to handle the facilitys workloadoversight of departments throughout the facility to provide support and ensure smooth and efficient operationmanaging the budget and financial health of the facility to ensure resources are available for clinicians and administrative staffrequesting funding and determining how the facility allocates those fundspurchasing new equipment, supplies and resources for clinicians and staff to optimise the technology that the facility usesnegotiating prices with vendors and suppliers to ensure they meet budget constraints
