Job Description

    Job Summary:The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of Myofficespace Facilities in Mysore. This role includes ensuring the functionality, safety, and efficiency of the physical workspace. The Facility Manager will manage vendor relationships, lead the maintenance team, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and work closely with the operations and customer service teams to ensure a high level of client satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:Facility Operations: Manage the day-to-day operations of the Myofficespace facilities , including building systems such as HVAC, lighting, electrical, plumbing, and security. Ensure all common areas, private offices, meeting rooms, and amenities are clean, functional, and up to the companys standards. Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all equipment, systems, and facilities to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.Vendor and Contractor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for services such as cleaning, security, and repairs. Negotiate contracts with service providers, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high service levels. Ensure that all work completed by vendors meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.Maintenance and Repairs: Oversee all maintenance tasks, both routine and emergency, ensuring the physical space is always operational and safe. Manage preventive maintenance programs and ensure repairs are conducted promptly. Implement a work order system to track and prioritize maintenance requests from clients or internal teams.Safety and Compliance: Ensure all Myofficespace Hubs comply with local safety, health, and building regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections, fire drills, and risk assessments to ensure the well-being of staff and clients. Ensure that all equipment and systems are in compliance with relevant safety and environmental laws.Budgeting and Cost Management: Develop and manage the facilities budget, including expenses for maintenance, repairs, utilities, and services. Monitor and control costs to ensure financial efficiency without compromising service quality. Recommend and implement cost-saving measures related to energy efficiency, space utilization, and vendor management.Client and Team Interaction: Work closely with the Hub managers to handle client requests and resolve issues related to facilities promptly. Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by maintaining a well-functioning and aesthetically pleasing environment. Supervise and train the in-house maintenance team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.Technology and Systems: Using inhouse software to streamline maintenance, repairs, and space utilization. Ensure all building systems, such as access control, surveillance, and IT infrastructure, are operating smoothly.Skills and Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field. 10 years of experience in facilities management, preferably in coworking, real estate, or hospitality. Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance processes, and safety regulations. Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts. Strong budgeting and cost management skills. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in using facility management software and MS Office Suite. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Preferred Skills: Familiarity with coworking space management and flexible office environments. Certifications in facility management (e.g., IFMAs Certified Facility Manager) are a plus. Experience with energy efficiency and sustainability practices.,
