Vacancy in Bangalore ITI Welder ITI Welder Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and certified ITI Welder to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for performing welding tasks to assemble metal structures and repair damaged metal components using a variety of welding techniques. The ideal candidate should have experience with welding processes, safety procedures, and be able to interpret technical drawings.Key Role & Responsibilities:
• Perform welding operations in line with technical specifications and job orders.
• Use welding equipment and machinery, including arc welders, gas welders, and plasma cutters, to weld metal parts together.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and other engineering documents to determine welding requirements.
• Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain and repair welding equipment as necessary.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Prepare surfaces and weld joints before starting the welding process.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements:
• ITI certification in Welding.
• Proven experience as a Welder in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of safety standards related to welding operations.
• Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures in specific industries (e.g., automotive, heavy machinery).
