Job Description

    As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will be an individual contributor within an Agile Scrum team, focusing on developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software. Your expertise in Rest Assured for API automation, Selenium with Java for UI automation, and SQL for database validation will be critical to the success of our projects. You will also play a role in effort estimation and client interactions, ensuring effective and efficient test strategies.Key Responsibilities: API Automation: Design, develop, and maintain automated tests for RESTful APIs using Rest Assured. Ensure thorough coverage and reliability of API tests. UI Automation: Implement and manage automated UI tests using Selenium with Java, ensuring comprehensive testing of web applications. Database Validation: Validate data integrity and functionality through database automation using SQL queries. Agile Contribution: Act as an individual contributor within an Agile Scrum team, participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. Effort Estimation: Provide accurate effort estimation for automation tasks and contribute to project planning and scheduling. Communication & Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with team members and clients, providing clear updates on testing progress and defect status. Cloud API Testing: (Good to Have) Experience in testing APIs deployed on cloud platforms is a plus. Version Control: Use Git for version control, managing code changes and collaborating with other team members.Primary Skills: Rest Assured API Automation: Strong hands-on experience with Rest Assured for API testing. Selenium & Java: Proficiency in Selenium for UI automation and strong Java coding skills. SQL Queries: Fair knowledge of SQL queries for database validation. Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile Scrum teams and contributing as an individual contributor. Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with experience in client interactions.Good to Have Skills: Cloud Platforms: Experience with testing APIs deployed on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure). Version Control: Proficiency with Git for version control.,
