Job Description

    We are hiring for our client - Masai.Qualifications AWS Certification Good knowledge of networking and cloud computing Preferred 2024/2025 graduatesKey Responsibilities Monitor the availability and performance of production environments, improving the efficiency and reliability of SaaS services. Optimize cloud infrastructure capacity planning, 100% hosted on AWS Manage incidents, including emergency responses, ensuring issues are mitigated promptly and with high quality. Track incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and ensure preventive actions are executed and well-documented. Collaborate with DevOps, InfoSec, and Engineering teams to enhance the performance, reliability, and operability of various applications and services. Work with tools like NewRelic, Grafana, Loggly, PagerDuty, Site24x7, FreshService, Kibana, AKAMAI, and AWS services like RDS, ESS, ECS, EC2, VPCs, Redis, Lambda, etc Improve observability and monitoring. Address customer concerns regarding infrastructure availability, performance, and security.Key Requirements Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Solid understanding of observability, AWS cloud services (EC2, RDS, Elasticsearch, Redis, SQS, API Gateway, Lambda, etc.), and monitoring tools. Ability to monitor a multi-tenant SaaS environment, including web applications, database services, APIs, and backend jobs. Experience handling live production incidents, debugging/troubleshooting applications, and infrastructure issues while following SRE best practices. Gather and analyze performance metrics from OS and applications. Exceptional documentation and strong interpersonal communication skills (listening, speaking, and writing). Proactive approach to identifying problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks. Ability to thrive in a diverse, team-focused environment with DevOps and engineering teams.
