We are looking for a Staff Visualization Engineer to provide hands-on leadership to a newly formed team & help build the product. We are building out a powerful, integrated BI tool from scratch and looking for passionate individuals to support in leading the architecture, design, and team in building this product.What youll do: Act as a passionate representative of the Albert product and brand. Provide strong technical hands-on leadership, and focus on continuous improvement. Evaluate our current plans and proposals for evolving Alberts front-end platform. Propose, build consensus on, and enact any necessary changes to our technical roadmap. Manage, maintain, and enhance our visualization libraries Work directly with the Head of Product to take product requirements and translate them into generic, scalable technical solutions Own and drive a part of the long-term technical roadmap in collaboration with staff engineers across the company as part of a platform architecture working group. Mentor other engineers. Impart best practices through code review and pair programming.You will have: 8 years of front-end engineering experience; 3 years, leading the team or architecture Extensive hands-on experience with Angular and data grids for real-time editing/ collaboration. Experience building a micro-front end. 4 years building visualization solutions with experience in D3.js or equivalent frameworks Experience owning and driving front-end system architecture design, implementation, and evolution Strong understanding of web and API standards such as REST Extensive Experience working on and supporting systems of scale, including a deep understanding of: Data volume and caching concerns Impact of front-end requests on back-end systems Impact of API and database query performance on the front-end experience Page load and time-to-interactive performance metrics as well as contributing factors Deployment strategies and tooling Design choices and best practices for all of the above.Engagement Type:Job Type: PermanentLocation: Hybrid in Bangalore - (Once in a week - 26, 1st St, Shivaji Nagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560055)Working time: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM ISTInterview Process - 4-5 RoundsHow to apply for this opportunity Register or login on our portal & fill out the application form.
