This position requires a professional with robust technical expertise and the ability to develop clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation tailored to a wide range of audiences. The role will involve close collaboration with subject-matter experts (SMEs) to ensure the accuracy and clarity of the materials produced.In this role, the Technical Writer will be responsible for creating various forms of content, such as articles, whitepapers, blogs, user manuals, and training materials. The position requires working in close partnership with cross-functional teams, including product and development teams, to ensure the successful translation of complex technical concepts into accessible and engaging documentation that is both informative and practical for end users.Key Responsibilities Research and document products, services, technologies, and concepts to create clear, well-organized, and easily understood content. Work closely with subject-matter experts to ensure technical accuracy and comprehensive coverage of topics. Develop content for various formats, including articles, blogs, whitepapers, user manuals, product guides, online help documentation, and tutorials. Write user interface text and development guidelines that are simple, clear, and easy to read for end-users. Maintain a consistent writing style and adhere to established style guides for documentation. Edit and review content produced by other team members to ensure consistency and accuracy. Analyse and recommend content improvements for better usability and efficiency. Assist with creating content plans and collaborating with internal teams to meet product and documentation requirements. Ensure all content aligns with iSOCRATES quality standards and meets the intended audiences needs. Assist in the development of knowledge articles, FAQs, technical presentations, and other customer-facing documentation. Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to understand features, functionalities, and workflows. Research and fact-check all collected data to ensure accuracy and reliability. Identify opportunities for content reuse and streamline documentation processes.Qualifications And Skills Bachelors or Masters degree in business, Communications, English, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Additional certifications in English writing, technical communication, or related areas are a plus. 3-5 years of professional writing and editing experience in technical writing, with a strong portfolio of content created for both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience with documentation tools like MadCap Flare, RoboHelp, or Confluence. Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, or other technical languages. Knowledge of content management systems and version control systems. Experience in creating tutorials, product demos, and user guides. Experience in marketing communication and commercial copywriting. Familiarity with technical software, SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), and software development processes. Knowledge of technology concepts and the ability to break them down into simple, understandable language. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in American English. Ability to convey complex technical information in an accessible, user-friendly way. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Docs/Apps, and other documentation tools. Ability to research, analyse, and synthesize information from multiple sources and produce clear, accurate documentation. Proven experience creating blogs, whitepapers, advertorials, social media content, proposals, RFPs, FAQs, and other marketing collateral. Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and engage with SMEs to ensure documentation accuracy. Willing to work from Mysore. Willing to work in 11.00 AM shifts and also in ET shifts when required for Business.,
