One of Our leading MNC Clients is looking to hire Asst. Manager - Supply ChainRole:The main responsibility of the role is to facilitate processes and plans that the production and procurement of sustainable cotton from the certified farm groups/our programs to the certified ginners is linked and aligned with the requirements of the customers. The role requires to monitor the sustainable cotton production activity and flow of the cotton produced into the certified supply chains, assurance and credibility for all the supply chain linkages in India.Key Accountabilities:Work as per the Supply chain SOP for various suppliers for the season for the organic or REEL cotton programs.Work with the teams to facilitate the functioning and plan with various projects, ginners and supply chain partners to make sure that the requirements are well monitored and met in terms of the right quantity and quality of cotton including the flow of reports & communications.Coordinate in linking various project farm groups across different states with certified ginners and beyond.H/She takes the responsibility of overseeing, linkage activities and procurement of cotton, planning, scheduling, inventory management, mapping with different stakeholders of the Cotton / textile supply chain.Communicating with ginners connected with projects and updating them on availability of cotton at appropriate time.Support to get the ginners and supply chain partners compliant with the various certifications / Code of Conducts (Organic, REEL etc.).Training the various stakeholders such as ginners, spinners, knitters/weavers, garment manufacturers and the brand on Supply Chain SOPs. Generate and furnish the Chain of Custody reports and validate the supply chain entries.Monitoring various processes such as seed linkages, farm activity, ginning, spinning, knitting/weaving at appropriate timing and conduct audits on supply chain traceability implementation and credibility of the data.Verification of documents of all stakeholders of supply chain at least once in a season and internal audit.Able to Track all ginning social compliance .Shall support supply chain events/workshops etc.Supporting commercial development and business development team, whenever there is a need.KeyDesired Skills:Experience and understanding of farm and ginning activities and textile traceabilityAdequate knowledge of using traceability software preferable, but not mandatoryKnowledge on project management, monitoring and evaluation.
