This role demands a strong technical foundation, strategic thinking, and leadership capabilities to ensure the backend infrastructure is robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with business goals. With 2 years of hands-on experience, the ideal candidate will take ownership of backend development initiatives, mentor junior developers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps. The role involves translating complex business requirements into efficient backend solutions, driving performance improvements, and ensuring high availability and reliability of services. The Senior Backend Developer will also play a key role in setting coding standards, reviewing code, and contributing to architectural decisions that shape the future of our technology stack. A proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for clean, maintainable code are essential. Key Responsibilities: Architect and Develop Scalable Backend Systems: Design, build, and maintain robust server-side applications and APIs that support high-performance, scalable, and secure digital products. Cloud-Native Development & Deployment: Leverage cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) to architect and deploy backend services using contemporary cloud-native practices such as containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and serverless computing. Database Design & Management: Integrate and manage relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB), ensuring data integrity, performance optimization, and scalability. API Design & Integration: Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs with a focus on clean architecture, versioning, and documentation. Ensure seamless integration with frontend and third-party services.
