Job Description

    As a Biomedical Equipment Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting patient diagnosis and treatment. Your responsibilities will include:- Installing, testing, calibrating, and repairing biomedical equipment to ensure safe operations- Training users on equipment operation and maintenance- Approving new equipment through tests, ensuring adherence to codes, and making necessary modifications- Installing new equipment by establishing, adjusting, calibrating, and testing performance- Maintaining equipment through preventive maintenance schedules, conducting tests, troubleshooting, and repairing malfunctions- Coordinating special equipment service, evaluating service contracts, and managing equipment inventories- Directing biomedical equipment operation by providing demonstrations, instructing healthcare staff, and answering queries- Evaluating proposed equipment through tests and evaluations- Improving equipment performance by studying interactions, collaborating with manufacturers, and developing modifications- Managing supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing orders, and verifying receipt- Preparing biomedical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends- Ensuring patient confidentiality and maintaining a safe working environment through safety tests, compliance with procedures, and training medical personnelIn addition, this role offers benefits including health insurance, paid sick time, and provident fund.
